4 Steps to Wear a Wig If You Have Long Hair

By braiding your hair into four or more different parts, you can better hide your long hair underneath. These braids help spread most of your hair evenly so that you don't have a whole lump of hair behind your wig.
Step 2
Wrap and pin the braids. Twist the ends of several braids together, wrap them around the back of your head, and pin them with a large bobby. Repeat the process for the rest of the hair, without overlapping. If the tail is thick, you can pin it on its own.
Step 3
Wear a wig cap. Choose the proper wig cap for yourself. As for the color, you'd better wear a cap that matches the color of the wig you want to wear. Then put the wig cap on your head and pull it up from the back of your neck. The idea is to spread the hair as flat as possible. During this process, stuff as much hair into the back of your neck as you can, but make sure it's still wrapped in a wig cap.
Step 4
Putting on the Wig. That's it. If you can flatten your hair, no one will suspect you hiding the long hair under a wig, and your head will look no bigger than average.
